Woman Tried Biting Employee In Nassau Store Robbery: Police
A woman put cans of tuna and bags of chips into her coat pockets and then shoved and tried to bite the employee who stopped her, police say.

OCEANSIDE, NY — A woman tried to bite a shop employee in Oceanside while stealing from the store on Sunday, Nassau police said.
A woman entered All In One Convenience Store, at 403 Merrick Road, around 1 p.m. and put cans of tuna and bags of chips into her coat pockets, police said. She then pushed a man who works at the store out of the way and then tried to bite him as she left without paying, police said.
She fled west on Merrick Road towards Rockville Centre, police said. No injuries were reported, police said.

Police described the woman as black, around 30 years old, having short hair, and wearing light black jeans, a black jacket and black sneakers.
Detectives asked for anyone with information on the robbery to call the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1–800–244 -TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
