• 3 Boaters Heard Shouting For Help After Vessel Sinks In LI Sound Rescued By Marine Units (patch.com) — Boaters on Long Island Sound near Manursing Island in Rye were pulled from the water by Rye and Westchester County police marine units after their vessel sank about 45 minutes earlier. All three were brought safely to Playland, declined medical attention, and officials praised the strong partnership that helps keep Rye's waterways safe.
