The 56-year-old was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and released on an appearance ticket. He is expected to appear in Rye City Court, and all charges remain allegations at this time.

Rye Police Arrest Trio After Stolen Vehicle Chase (talkofthesound.com) β Rye police, aided by county partners, say they stopped a stolen vehicle entering from Mamaroneck on Boston Post Road, then tracked four fleeing occupants near local landmarks like St. Regis Residences and The Osborn. Three adults from the Bronx and Brooklyn now face charges ranging from criminal possession of stolen property to obstructing governmental administration, while a juvenile passenger was released to family.

Rye Country Day to Present Proposed Athletic and Academic Buildings to Planning Commission on Tuesday (ryerecord.com) β Rye Country Day School is heading back to the city planning commission Tuesday with an ambitious proposal for new athletic and academic facilities, including a relocated hockey rink, turf field, field house, and tunnel under Boston Post Road. The multi-phase plan, tied to the former Thruway site purchase, could reshape traffic, campus safety, and shared field access for the wider Rye community.

Queens Woman Charged After Rye Traffic Stop (indonewyork.com) β State police say a Queens woman was arrested in Rye after a Thruway traffic stop where troopers reported finding about 21.5 grams of suspected cocaine packaged in multiple baggies. She faces two felony drug charges plus traffic citations and was arraigned in Rye City Court before being released. A return court date is scheduled for October 20, and all charges remain allegations.
