1 Arrest In LI Massage Parlor Raid After 'Numerous Complaints': Police

The Queens woman, 52, was charged with unlicensed practice of a profession and third-degree sex abuse, Suffolk cops say.

RONKONKOMA, NY — Numerous complaints about a Long Island massage parlor that prompted a raid on Thursday afternoon resulted in the arrest of a Queens woman for unlicensed massage practice and sexual abuse, Suffolk cops say.

The 4th Precinct’s Community Support Unit, as well as detectives, Property Section officers, and the Brookhaven Town Fire Marshals’ Office conducted an investigation at Loving Care Foot Spa on Ronkonkoma Avenue in Ronkonkoma just before 4 p.m. after receiving complaints from the “community,” police said

Chunjuan Zhang, 52, of Flushing was charged with two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession and two counts of third-degree sex abuse, both misdemeanors, according to police. She was released with an appearance ticket returnable to First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.

The fire marshal’s office also issued six violations for fire code and building offenses.
