1-Year-Old Infant Bitten By Pit Bull In Suffolk County: Cops
The infant was taken to an area hospital for treatment, police said.
FARMINGVILLE, NY — A one-year-old infant was bitten by a pit bull in Farmingville and then taken to an area hospital on Saturday, Suffolk police said.
The infant was bitten by the dog at a location on Oaklawn Avenue around noon, police said, adding that the infant was treated for a laceration. The county's Society of Prevention to Cruelty of Animals was notified about the bite, police said.
