2 Suffolk 7-Elevens Robbed at Gunpoint
BREAKING: Detectives are investigating if the overnight robberies are connected.

Two 7-Eleven stores in Suffolk County were robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning, Suffolk Police said.
The first robbery occurred at the 7-Eleven at 450 Peconic St. in Ronkonkoma at 1:20 a.m. The other occurred at the 7-Eleven at 2 E. Main St. in East Islip at 3:45 a.m.
In both robberies, two men, one armed with a gun, entered the store, police said. One man stood at the door, and the other demanded proceeds from an employee.

Money and cigarettes were stolen from the Ronkonkoma store, and money was stolen from the East Islip store, police said.
In both robberies, the robbers concealed their faces. No one was injured.
