2 Women, 2 Children Hurt in Separate Crashes in Farmingville, Holtsville Saturday
BREAKING: One woman was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries, police say.

Four people were hurt, including a woman who was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries, in separate crashes in Farmingville and Holtsville Saturday morning.
The Farmingville crash occurred at about 10 a.m. when a Ford SUV overturned on southbound Nicolls Road at the Horseblock Road overpass, police said.
The woman driving the SUV, who police did not identify, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Two children in the vehicle were also taken to Stony Brook, but police did not specify the extent of their injuries.

The Holtsville crash occurred shortly after 4 a.m. on Blue Point Road.
The Holtsville Fire Department responded to the scene and upon arrival, Chief Mike Escue advised incoming units that the driver of the vehicle was heavily trapped. Firefighters worked quickly to extricate the female driver, who was then transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for her injuries via a Holtsville Ambulance. It is unclear how seriously the woman was injured.
