$2K Reward After Starving Dog Found Behind Selden Animal Hospital

SELDEN, NY — A $2,000 reward is being offered for information after a starving, injured dog was found abandoned and neglected behind a Selden animal hospital
A female Cane Corso was found with a swollen and infected leg wound behind the Middle Country Animal Hospital on Tuesday, June 25, the Suffolk County SPCA said in a news release. The dog was emaciated, her ribs and hips clearly protruding.
Anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for abandoning the dog is asked to contact the SPCA.
