3 Taken To Hospital After 2-Vehicle Crash In Centereach: Police

The vehicles collided at the intersection of Hammond and Nichols roads at around  1:15 p.m., Suffolk police say.

CENTEREACH, NY — Three people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Centereach on Thursday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

A 2023 Lexus driven by a man, 41, of Ridge, who had a female passenger, and a 2015 Honda driven by 62-year-old Port Jefferson Station man, who was alone in car, collided at the intersection of Hammond and Nichols roads at around 1:15 p.m., according to police.

All three went to Stony Brook University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
