RONKONKOMA, NY — Station Yards has launched a weekly Farmers Market, taking place every Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m., through Sept. 29, at the mixed-use destination directly across from the Ronkonkoma Long Island Rail Road station, organizers said.

It was designed with busy professionals, commuters, and families in mind, offering a convenient opportunity to shop for fresh produce and locally made goods after work without sacrificing valuable weekend time.

The market, which is organized by Long Island Farmers Markets, the team behind the successful and popular farmers markets in Babylon and Huntington, is presented in partnership with Cornucopia Natural Foods, an allergen-friendly and health-focused grocery store, located at Station Yards.

Shoppers can purchase fresh, locally grown produce from Garden of Eve Organic Farm and explore a rotating collection of local vendors offering specialty foods, baked goods, handmade products, artisanal goods, and unique gifts.

Lona Graepel, founder of Long Island Farmers Markets, said that for years, many of Long Island's most popular farmers markets have been concentrated along the North and South Shores.

"Station Yards gives us the opportunity to bring that same energy and access to fresh, local products to the center of Long Island, making it easier for people from across the region to enjoy the farmers market experience," she said.

Kelley Heck, co-president at TRITEC Real Estate Company, said that Station Yards "has always been about creating a place where people can come together, whether they're residents, employees, or visitors."

"The addition of a weekly Farmers Market is another way we're bringing that vision to life by creating a vibrant community experience that supports local agriculture, small businesses, and healthy living," she said.

"The weekly market further enhances Station Yards' growing lineup of retail, dining, residential, and community events, reinforcing its role as a vibrant destination where Long Islanders can live, work, shop, and connect," she added.
