Long Island Weather: Another Nor'Easter May Be On The Way

Who is ready for another nor'easter?

With more than 6,000 PSEG Long Island customers still without power after Wednesday's storm, forecasters have their eyes on a storm system that could potentially turn into the third nor'easter to hit the area in just 10 days.

"During early next week, the storm will reach the southern Atlantic coast and may continue to head eastward and well out to sea or may reorganize, strengthen and turn northward," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Dan Pydynowski says.

The National Weather Service says it's "definitely a system worth watching but too early to pinpoint track or timing."

Thursday Night- Isolated snow showers before midnight, then isolated snow showers after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. West wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday- Scattered snow showers before noon, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 43. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. West wind 13 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Night- Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. West wind 15 to 17 mph.

Saturday- Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. West wind 14 to 17 mph.

Saturday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 31. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday- Sunny, with a high near 43.

Sunday Night- A 30 percent chance of snow after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.

Monday- A chance of snow before noon, then a chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Monday Night- A chance of rain before midnight, then a chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday- Partly sunny, with a high near 40.
