Arkansas Woman Had Loaded 9mm Handgun In Her Truck: Police
It was found by officers called to a Ronkonkoma employer accusing her of racking up $70,000 in unauthorized charges, cops say.
RONKONKOMA, NY — An Arkansas woman was caught with a loaded 9mm handgun on Thursday when officers called to investigate an accusation she made unauthorized charges on a company credit card owned by her Ronkonkoma employer, Suffolk police said.
Officers were called to Cassone Leasing Inc. after Nikki Naylor, 58, of Van Buren, was accused of making unauthorized charges with a company credit card, and inside her truck they found a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun that she did not have a New York state permit for, according to police.
Further investigation by 5th Squad detectives found that Naylor made over $70,000 worth of unauthorized charges on her company credit card, police said.

Naylor was charged with second-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of a weapon, as well as criminal possession of a firearm and she is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.
