At the April 13 meeting of the Sachem Central School District Board of Education the board recognized an outstanding group of student-musicians in seventh and eighth grade who recently received honors from the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association and the Long Island String Festival.

Additionally, the board recognized the Sachem High School East Valedictorian Antonia Pavek, Sachem High School East Salutatorian Michaela Barresi, Sachem High School North Valedictorian Anna Miller and Sachem High School North Salutatorian Samantha Watson for their outstanding academic achievements during their time in high school.
