Brookhaven Town Extends Beach, Pool Hours to 7 P.M.
The facilities will be open until 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
FARMINGVILLE, NY — Brookhaven Town has extended the hours of its beaches and pools to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday in light of the extreme temps that are expected.
Lifeguards will be on duty and restrooms will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Cedar Beach in Mount Sinai, both west and main beaches, West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook, and Corey Beach in Blue Point. The Town’s Holtsville and Centereach Pools will also be open from 12 to 7 p.m.
The hours for the Brookhaven Aquatic Center in Mastic will not be extended.

Online pre-registration and payment for pool facilities are required. Brookhaven Town resident parking stickers are required for free beach and pool parking, except at the Centereach Pool. To register, go to www.BrookhavenNY.gov for more details. The parking stickers can only be purchased online by clicking on the tab for permits.
