BROOKHAVEN TOWN, NY — Suffolk's first responders were busy last week, according to the Suffolk County Police Department's logs.
— Here's a snapshot of some incidents and arrests:
CORAM
- A Central Islip man pointed a handgun and made threats at someone on Norfleet Lane in Coram at around 6:25 p.m. on March 2, police said. The 29-year-old was charged with second-degree menacing, criminal mischief, and prohibited use of a weapon, all misdemeanors, according to police. Additional details were not available.
HOLBROOK
- Someone reported their vehicle was damaged by a driver who left the scene of a crash in Holbrook on March 2, police said. The driver's side of the vehicle was struck while it was parked on Beacon Drive, and the driver left the scene without reporting the crash, according to police. No arrests have been made in the case.
RONKONKOMA
- A Ronkonkoma man waved two knives at an officer at a location on Deer Park Road at 4 a.m. on March 2, police said. Jose Donnelly, 32, was charged with two counts of menacing a police officer, a felony, according to police. Donnelly pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in First District Court in Central Islip, and his bail was set at $75,000, $150,000 insured bond, and $750,000 partially secured surety bond, online court records show.
SHIRLEY
A Shirley man mimicked that he had a gun and demanded money from a shop employee on Surry Circle in Shirley on March 3, police said. Aramis Landwilson, 44, was charged with second-degree robbery, a felony. No further details were available from police.

He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in First District Court in Central Islip, and a temporary order of protection was issued, online court records show.
His bail was set at $10,000, $20,000 insured bond, and a $100,000 partially secured surety bond, online court records show.
