To encourage and support &nbsp;serious dance students,&nbsp;The Ballet Center&nbsp;offers significant reductions in tuition for those who qualify.&nbsp;&nbsp;The broad scope of this scholarship program is exclusive to&nbsp;The Ballet Center.&nbsp;&nbsp;During the semester 2026 – 27 Artistic Director, Debra Punzi, will offer one hundred fifty (150) scholarships to deserving students.&nbsp;&nbsp; Scholarships are full and partial depending on skill or financial need. The Ballet Center is the only school on Long Island that offers this great scholarship program. Our mission is to make dance available and affordable to everyone. Many of our students have gone on to professional careers in dance – teachers, professional dancers and choreographers. Ms. Punzi believes serious and talented dancers should be rewarded and encouraged.
We are looking for serious students. Scholarship students must attend class on a regular basis, participate in performances and recitals and be&nbsp;good students. Serious about dance?&nbsp;Apply for a TBC Scholarship. Scholarship is awarded through the audition process. Students wishing to apply for a scholarship must file an application and audition at The Ballet Center, 1863 Pond Road, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. Audition For The Nutcracker
Ballet Long Island will be holding auditions for ballet students to participate in THE NUTCRACKER. Ballet Long Island is the only full time professional ballet company on Long Island. Students will dance with professional dancers from around the country. They will learn from one of the best teaching staff in the United States. This is an experience that will last a lifetime. Rehearsals start in September and performances of THE NUTCRACKER will be held in December.
Audition Fee: $35
