Join us for our Annual St. John’s Outdoor and Virtual Fall Auction September 19th. Doors open 9 am, prize drawing at 1 pm.  Over 400 prizes valued up to $200, and featuring our famous Eggs and Mystery bags. Admission is $10.00 and includes 25 raffle tickets.  The ‘Franksalot' food truck will be on-site all day. Support our food pantry by bringing a non-perishable food item for entry into a special prize drawing.

Little Princess &amp; Prince Ballet Class (2 - 3 year olds) Little ballerinas will learn new ballet skills and concepts, and improve their balance, rhythm, and flexibility. A special class for the very young child. Basic dance technique, songs, and dances stressing locomotor movements, dress up and make believe. .We will use stories, imagination games and props like scarves, shakers, ribbons and hoola hoops to encourage movement. Students will also work on classroom skills such as following directions, listening and working with others. Whether you’re looking to indulge your passion, push your boundaries, immerse yourself in a new challenge, or just get out of the house for a good workout. Ballet is for you.There is no dress code for these ballet classes, but we ask that you wear yoga pants or tights and leotard or snug-fitting attire so that the instructor can see your form and ballet slippers.

The Jay Heritage Center in Rye, New York will celebrate America at 250 with a toast to Jay Medal honorees Pulitzer Prize-winning author Annette Gordon-Reed, the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University and award-winning Lincoln historian Harold Holzer.
The Jay Medal for Service was created in 2012 to recognize individuals who demonstrate a selfless spirit of commitment to and engagement with their community mirroring the multifaceted contributions of John Jay and his descendants. These honorees have demonstrated through their life's work that our shared narratives as a country, complicated as they are, can be better illuminated through the highest caliber of ongoing scholarship and advocacy. Honorees are selected for their excellence in the fields of American history, environmental stewardship, social justice or civic engagement.
Joining the celebration will be Chief Judge of the State of New York and the New York Court of Appeals, Honorable Rowan D. Wilson and historian and philanthropist Elihu Rose who will present the awards at JHC's annual Soirée. Special guests will include David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman, and Beverly Gage.

The Jay Medal Soirée will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Jay Estate from 5:30-9:30pm. Cocktails, dinner, award ceremony and dancing. Cocktail Attire.
