Car Crashes Into Holbrook Home
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries Friday afternoon.
A woman lost control of her car Friday, hitting a light pole then crashing into a house on Springmeadow Drive in Holbrook around 4 p.m.
Holbrook firefighters and Suffolk County police assisted her from the vehicle and she was then transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
Nobody was home at the house at the time of the crash. Holbrook Fire Captain Stahl advised units of significant damage to the home and requested a fire marshal and building inspector to the scene for an investigation.
