Car Crashes Through 2 Fences, Stops On Holtsville Porch: PD

HOLTSVILLE, NY — A man lost control of the car he was driving and it careened through two fences and bushes before coming to a stop on a Holtsville home’s porch on Wednesday night, Suffolk County police said.

Police said the man was driving a 2021 Kia and lost control of the car before it ended up on the porch of a home on North Ocean Avenue at about 8:15 p.m. The man, as well as a woman, who was a passenger, were transported to local hospitals with “minor injuries,” police said.

The Brookhaven Town Building Inspector’s office responded to evaluate the structure, according to police.
