HOLTSVILLE, NY – A man was injured after suffering an "apparent medical event" and crashing his car into the back of a truck in Holtsville Thursday morning, police said. Suffolk County Police responded to the two-vehicle crash on Nicolls Road shortly before noon. According to police, a man driving northbound struck a truck in front of him. The man, who police have not name, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. Photo by Matty Bee

HOLTSVILLE, NY – A man was injured after suffering an "apparent medical event" and crashing his car into the back of a truck in Holtsville Thursday morning, police said.

Suffolk County Police responded to the two-vehicle crash on Nicolls Road shortly before noon. According to police, a man driving northbound struck a truck in front of him. The man, who police have not name, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
