As part of the schoolwide effort facilitated by special education teacher Tina-Marie Mikos, students across grade levels wrote wishes that they had for sick children and deposited them in a special mailbox within the school building. With each letter that is collected, Macy’s will donate a dollar to the Make-a-Wish Foundation to make the dreams of sick children come true.
Throughout the holiday season, students have participated in lessons on kindness and ways they can help improve their school community and beyond.
