Cement Truck Worker Hospitalized After Being Assaulted by Driver in Lake Ronkonkoma

Police are looking for a man who assaulted a cement truck worker in Lake Ronkonkoma on Tuesday.

According to police, the worker was on a job site where a cement truck was coned off in a lane on Smith Road when words were exchanged between him and a suspect in a Honda at about 4:10 p.m.

The driver of the Honda exited his vehicle and pushed worker to the ground, police said. The worker was taken by Ronkonkoma Rescue to Stony Brook University Hospital.

The suspect was described as white, 5-foot-10, 20 to 30-years-old with facial hair.
