LI Teacher Back In School After Bullying Comments: Report
The teacher allegedly commented that she couldn't "deal with these Black kids always being absent," Newsday reported.

CENTEREACH, NY — A Centereach High School teacher accused of directing racist and sexist remarks at a student — and who was later found by school administrators to have violated district — has returned to the classroom, Newsday reported.
An 18-year-old senior, Isabella Rexach-Moore, said tenured teacher Jennifer Brunet, said that she couldn't "deal with these Black kids always being absent," according to documents obtained by the outlet. The allegation was substantiated in an investigation by high school Principal Thomas Bell, according to a Dec. 16 letter Bell sent to Rexach-Moore and Brunet, Newsday reported.
In other instances, Brunet commented on the 12th-grader’s clothing and body in front of her class and spoke to her in a tone that an assistant principal, who saw an interaction, said was "inappropriate," the outlet reported.

Bell deemed that several of the allegations "of bullying and/or harassment are found and thus did violate District Policy," according to the outlet.
