Country Star Brett Young To Headline Suffolk County's 'Freedom Fest' At Bald Hill In Farmingville
The free, ticketed July 3 event, celebrating America's 250th Anniversary, is expected to draw thousands, county officials say.

FARMINGVILLE, NY — Country Music Superstar Brett Young will headline Freedom Fest on July 3, Suffolk County’s official celebration of America’s 250th anniversary at the Catholic Health Amphitheater at Bald Hill in Farmingville.
The event will feature special guests and opening performances, and Young’s performance will be followed by a fireworks display by the world-famous Grucci Family.
The event is expected to draw thousands, county officials said.

It "will bring residents together for an unforgettable evening of live music, patriotism, and community pride," according to county officials.
Freedom Fest will be ticketed, but is free for up to 7,500 county residents and will be “entirely supported through private sponsorships, advertisers, and in-kind community partnerships, ensuring no cost to taxpayers while delivering a premier civic experience,” county officials said.

Tickets will be distributed through promotional partners and official channels, according to county officials.
Sponsors of the event include the Long Island State Veterans Home, Discover Long Island, Jakes 58, Maggio Environmental, Long Island Catholic Health, the Town of Brookhaven, and JVC Broadcasting.
John Caracciolo, Chief Executive Officer of JVC Broadcasting, which is hosting the event, called the event “more than a concert,” saying that it is “a celebration of our nation’s history, our veterans, our families, and the spirit of Suffolk County.”
“Freedom Fest will be a signature America 250 event that residents can enjoy at no cost to taxpayers of Suffolk County,” he added.
