Driver Charged With DWI After Car Crashes Through Fence, Strikes 2 Parked Vehicles In Lake Ronkonkoma: Police
The woman was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.
LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY — A woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after her vehicle struck two vehicles parked in a driveway in Lake Ronkonkoma on Monday night, Suffolk police said.
She was driving a 2008 Nissan sedan westbound on Round Pond Road when she lost control of the vehicle, drove through the fence and yard of a home on Hans Boulevard, and struck two vehicles that were parked in the driveway at around 5:30 p.m., according to police.
The impact caused one of the parked vehicles to strike and damage the garage door, police said.

The woman, 65, of Farmingville, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
