Driver Sought In Taco Bell Hit-And-Run

It's unclear if the driver ordered a Double Chalupa before crashing into a tree and fence in the parking lot last month.

Suffolk Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the person who fled the scene after striking a tree and a fence with an SUV in the parking lot of a Farmingville Taco Bell last month.

Police say a person driving a white SUV (pictured above) crashed into a tree and damaged a fence in the parking lot of the Taco Bell located at 2425 N. Ocean Ave. on Aug. 26 at about 11:40 p.m. The driver then fled the scene.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
