Easter Egg Trail Hunt Planned In Farmingville Hills
The hunt will feature educational, history-based clues that will guide families to each Easter Egg Trail stop where there will be a hunt.
FARMINGVILLE HILLS, NY — Two community organizations are planning the first ever Easter egg hunt at Farmingville Hills County Park on April 9.
The Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce and The Farmingville Historical Society are partnering up for the Farmingville Hills Easter Egg Trail Hunt with a focus on building community, highlighting local park trails and local history, while creating a fun outdoor event for families, according to organizers.
The hunt will feature educational, history-based clues that will guide families to each Easter Egg Trail stop where there will be a hunt. Children will collect a certain number of colored eggs and the last stop will be at the 1850 Historic Bald Hill Schoolhouse. Children will recycle their plastic Easter eggs in exchange for a special gift, as well as take a picture with the Easter Bunny.
