From Sachem Schools: Fifth-grade students at Waverly Avenue Elementary School in the Sachem Central School District turned to technology to tell popular fairy tales during a recent English language arts activity in Kristina Fulcher and Danielle Sexton’s class.

Using Ozobots, students retold the popular fairy tale “The Three Little Pigs” by sketching paths for the Ozobots to follow. Along the paths, students illustrated key moments in the story and added color elements to the paths that caused the Ozobots to spin before continuing on the path. As part of the unique activity, students explored the importance of several key story elements such as character development, plot and conflict.
