Farmingville Woman Involved in Fatal Eastport Crash
One person was killed and four were hurt in accident Sunday afternoon.

A 41-year-old Flanders woman was killed and four others were hurt in a two-car crash in Eastport Sunday afternoon, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, 22-year-old Rudi Ramirez, of Flanders, was driving a 1990 Toyota Camry south on County Road 51 when a northbound 2015 Hyundai Tucson made a left turn in front of the Toyota at County Road 111 at 2:47 p.m.
Ramirez’s passenger, Blanca Coslaya, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Ramirez is being treated at Stony Brook for non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The driver of the Hyundai, 51-year-old Madeline Keane, of Farmingville, and and her two passengers were transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Both vehicles were impounded for a safety inspection and the investigation is continuing. No criminal charges have been filed.
