Police: Fire Fully Engulfs Holbrook Home

Smoke from the blaze can be seen from the Great South Bay Wednesday evening.

Several fire departments are currently on the scene of a house fire in Holbrook.

Police say the blaze broke out at a home located at 132 Bishop Avenue, east of Broadway Avenue, around 6:20 p.m.

The fire ”fully engulfed” the home, police said.

No injuries have been reported. Photos posted on social media show smoke from the blaze can be seen from the Great South Bay. Bishop Lane is closed near the scene of the fire, police said.
