Fire Tears Through Holbrook Home [Video]
The fire started in the garage and quickly spread throughout the home Sunday afternoon.

HOLBROOK, NY – Six fire departments battled a fast-moving blaze at a Holbrook home Sunday afternoon.
The Ronkonkoma Fire Department was alerted to the fire on Center Street around 4:45 p.m. Upon arrival, chiefs were met with heavy smoke and flames visible from the home.
Assistance was called in from the Holbrook, Farmingville, Holtsville, Nesconset and Lakeland fire departments. The fire started in the garage and quickly spread throughout the home.

The fire took about an hour to be placed under control. No injuries were reported.
Ronkonkoma Fire Chief Tim Blewett requested a fire marshal to the scene for an investigation.
