But first, today's weather:
Cooler with rain and drizzle. High: 60 low: 55.
📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Sachem who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.
I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Sachem Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.
Here are the top three stories in Sachem today:
- Five farm-to-table restaurants to check out on Long Island. We are now a month into fall which means harvest season is in its peak. These five restaurants offer salivating items with the freshest ingredients by partnering with local farms. You can see photos and menu items from the different restaurants in the link! (Patch)
- Expect cloudy skies with chances of rain to start your work week. There will not be any sun this week until Thursday and Friday, which will be beautiful days. The good news is temperatures will be mild all week, from the mid 60s to around 70 degrees Friday. (Weather.com)
- ICYMI: Suffolk Police searching for missing 12-year-old Ronkonkoma girl. Madeline Rivera-Cordon was last seen leaving her home on Pond Road on Wednesday at about 7 p.m., said police, adding that detectives believe she might be in Brentwood, Central Islip, or Patchogue. Detectives ask anyone that may see Rivera-Cordon to call 911. (Patch)
