- Check out five new homes to hit the market. The homes are all located in the Town of Brookhaven and range in price and size. - A $3.4 billion budget was approved by Suffolk lawmakers. The budget will increase spending by 1.5% and allocate more money to cybersecurity and law enforcement. County Executive Steve Ballone said that the budget "protects taxpayers, addresses cyber security, invests in public safety and is combating the opioid epidemic," and continues officials' "efforts to reform government."
