Former LI U.S. Marine Plotted To Rape/Kill In Neo-Nazi Group: Report
Feds say Matthew Belanger, 25, planned to "decrease the number of minority residents" with "Rapekrieg," Rolling Stone reports.
SELDEN, NY — A former U.S. Marine from Long Island planned to carry out an attack on a synagogue and also rape women as part of his membership in the far-right neo-Nazi group, “Rapekrieg,” Rolling Stone reported on Monday.
Federal agents arrested twenty-five-year-old Matthew Belanger, a former resident of Selden, on June 10 in New York and charged him with making false statements to a federal firearms licensee so that he could make straw purchases of an assault rifle and handgun, according to the outlet. He pleaded not guilty to the firearms charges at his arraignment on Monday, the outlet reported.
Prosecutors say that Belanger, while still a Marine, trained with airsoft guns in the woods of Long Island as part of a plot to attack the “Zionist Order of Governments” and he was the subject of a probe by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Joint Terrorism Taskforce for plotting to “engage in widespread homicide and sexual assault,” according to a court memo obtained by Rolling Stone.

The memo said Belanger's ideology is based on his desire to reduce the number of nonwhite people and also to rape “white women to increase the production of white children,” the outlet reported.
