Gunman Robs Holbrook Gas Station

A man armed with a gun robbed a Holbrook gas station Wednesday night.

According to police, the man entered the Mobil station, located at 5991 Expressway Drive North, at about 10:40 p.m. He displayed a black handgun and demanded money from the attendant, police said.

The attendant complied and the robber fled on foot northbound toward the rear of the gas station, police said.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

The investigation is continuing and Sixth Squad detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
