Help Wanted: Job Postings in Sachem, Jan. 9

With companies and employers rounding back into form now that all the holidays are over there was more local opportunities posted across the internet this week.  Here's  some of the positions available in Sachem:

Registered Nurse: Rao Medical Group in Holtsville is recruiting for PRN nurses to work one of two shifts. The first is from 7 a.m to 3:30 p.m. and the second is from 3:30 p.m. until midnight. At least one-year previous experience required.

Personal Banker (small business specialist): This full-time position is with JP Morgan Chase in Ronkonkoma. This is a sales focused position with a primary goal of acquiring, retaining and deepening customer relationships. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Field Technician: Harris, an international communications and information technology company in Ronkonkoma, is in need of a tech-savvy field technician for installation, repair, configuration and preventative maintenance of computers and network equipment. This is a physically demanding position (able to lift 70 pounds) that is also requires the ability to be on call.

Positions at Motorola: The largest corporation in town has had it's job board down for several weeks. Now back up, a handful of positions are open at the company's Holtsville location, including supervisor of technical support, a couple electronic technician positions, and others.

Customer Account Coordinator: This full-time position with CAMP, a leader in aviation management products and services, offers a salary between $35,000 and $45,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package. For those interested, the Ronkonkoma-based company is looking for someone to handle customer billing issues, process payments, and to provide both internal and external client service.

Tax season assistance: It's the time of year everyone knows well, and to prepare for it Gilman Ciocia Inc., a tax and financial planning firm in Ronkonkoma, is looking for seasonal assistance. The position pays $10-$11 an hour and includes answering phones, filing and faxing paper work, and scheduling appointments.

Freight Associate: The Kohl's department store in Ronkomkoma is looking for a part-time freight associate. Unloading and stocking all incoming freight to the sales floor and stockroom are responsibilities of this position.

Truck Driver: This is a full-time position with NBTY of Ronkonkoma, a leader in manufacturing and distributing natural supplements. Must meet all DOT requirements, and posses a CDL license.

Science Teachers: The Islip Tutor Service in Holbrook has several opening for science teachers (Earth, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and General). This is a part-time position that calls for a bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience.

Business Development Project Manager: You might know the company as Caterpillar, but in the lower region of New York they are called HO Penn and  its Holbrook location is looking for a Business Development Project Manager. Bachelor's degree and three years of business experience is required. Must have drivers license and be willing to travel local.

Baby Sitter: Lake Grove family seeks sitter to help get two children ready for school. Pay is $10 an hour and includes helping out with breakfast, driving one child to school, and getting the other to the bus on time.

Customer Service Rep: A facilities firm in Holbrook has an opening for a customer service representative. This is a fast-paced position creating and maintaining spreadsheets and communicating with clients. Salary range is $35,000 - $45,000.
