Help Wanted: Job Postings in Sachem, March 20

On the eve of the first day of spring, Sachem jobs have sprung up across the internet. Interesting this week is the variety of jobs, including some specific, advanced expereince positions. Here's a look at some of the positions posted this week:

HR Administrative Assistant: This full-time position with American Medical Response, a medical transportation company in Holbrook, calls for at least two years office experience. As a HR administrative assistant, the right candidate will process incoming mail, type a wide variety of documents, provide customer service, and deal with confidential paperwork. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Assistant Manger: Sears Hardware in Ronkonkoma is looking for a permenant assistant manager with previous experience. Position requires a high school diploma and the ability to be a proactive leader who takes a supervisor role over store operations.

Engineering Technician: Ronkonkoma-based Aerospace Firm seeks electrical engineering technicians. Responsibilities include designing digital and analog circuits. Schematic Capture and prototyping skills are a plus. Minimal education required is an associate degree in electrical technology. Benefits and 401k offered.

Sr. Social Worker: The Family and Children's Association is a non-profit-agency that aims to help underserved and disadvantaged individuals build better lives. Pizza Man/Cook: Village Pizza in Farmingville is looking for a pizza man/cook to fill a full-time position. Minimum three years of experience required.

Accounts Payable Assistant: ExcelAire LLC, a Ronkonkoma-based aviation company, has an extremely busy accounting department in need of an accounts payable assistant. This full time position requires previous accounts payable experience ( two years) and at least a high school deploma. Strong MS Office skills needed, as well as a stable work history.

Finance Manger: Located in Lake Grove, Champion Motorsports is a budding new dealership, or soon to be considered 'Toys R Us" for adults. To get the business  growing, the Middle County Road location is looking to hire a Finance Manager. Experience is a must.

Legal Secretary: Lake Grove law office has an opening for an expereinced legal secretary. Proficiency in microsoft and trial works software required. This is a full time position requiring a four-year degree. Areas of law covered includes automobile, labor law, products, medical malpractice and premises liability.

Outside Sales: Roco Fastener, a Holbrook-based company that produces fasteners, chemicals, tools and shop supplies for the automotive industry, seeks a salesman. Position requires selling to outside companies and vendors. Two years experience in sales preferred. Benefits available, plus salary and commission.
