Hit-And-Run Driver Sought By Suffolk Cops

Investigators believe the vehicle in the July 25 incident is a red Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, cops say.

FARMINGVILLE, NY — Suffolk cops are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle they say struck a man in Farmingville and left the scene in July.

A 36-year-old man was walking northbound on Hillside Road when he was struck by a vehicle on July 25 at about 2 p.m., said police, adding that investigators believe the vehicle is a red Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. No further information was released.
