Holbrook Fire Sends 3 To Hospital For Smoke Inhalation [VIDEO]
A dryer caught fire inside a Holbrook home Monday afternoon.

HOLBROOK, NY – Two residents and a firefighter were taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation after a dryer caught fire inside a Holbrook home Monday afternoon.
The Holbrook Fire Department was alerted to the fire Singingwood Drive around 2:35 p.m. Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Pat McIntyre was met with visible smoke showing from the home and advised incoming crews of an active dryer fire inside the home.
The Holtsville, Bayport and North Patchogue fire departments were called to the scene to assist. Firefighters made a quick stop of the fire without further incident. Fire officials requested a Town of Islip fire marshal and the Suffolk Police Arson Squad to the scene to investigate.
