Suspect Sought In 2 Lake Ronkonkoma Break-Ins, Police Say

RONKONKOMA, NY — Suffolk police detectives released surveillance images in the hope that they will help them develop some leads in a pair of Lake Ronkonkoma break-ins.

Police say a man broke into E Smoke & Convenience on Ronkonkoma Avenue around 1:15 a.m. on on July 20. He stole cash, cartons of cigarettes, boxes of Kratom vapes and some rolling paper. The same man broke into the business again nine days later and stole cash and more cigarettes, police said.

He is described as being in his mid-30s with a thin build, and as having dark hair and a beard. He also has tattoos on his right forearm, according to police.

Suffolk Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
