J & C 68 Restaurant: Looking For Lucky New Beginnings
Nearly two years after Hurricane Sandy swirled through the area, residents of Farmingville were delighted to see J & C 68 Restaurant re-open

Brightly colored flags and accent lighting welcomed patrons to the doorstep of J & C 68. Nearly two years after Hurricane Sandy swirled through the area, residents of Farmingville were delighted to see their beloved restaurant officially open its doors for business yet again on Saturday, September 20. Owner Nancy Fu was forced to close after the infamous super storm damaged the outdoor electrical wiring, sparking a fire to her dining room. After many months of relentless determination, Ms. Fu was able to assemble a team of workers who are ready to serve up Asian cuisine that is sure to satisfy your cravings.
“We are excited to be a part of this grand re-opening, “ stated Michael Wentz, president of the Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce. “This has been a highly anticipated event for the people of our community.”
The Farmingville restaurant J & C 68 has a strong following due to its ability to serve up various dishes from its namesake origins. The J represents Japanese, and the C for Chinese. In addition, this pan-Asian eatery offers some Thai dishes to round out as a triple threat. The 68 was added in hopes of bringing luck to the restaurant since the numbers 6 and 8 are considered lucky in China. Nancy Fu is certainly looking to channel some of that luck to create a superior dining experience that will keep people coming back for more.
