LIRR Handling Nor'easter As Well As Expected

The nor'easter is just getting started, but things have already taken a turn for the worse on the LIRR.

You may need a life vest for your ride home on the Long Island Rail Road this evening if the photo above from a train on the Ronkonkoma Branch this morning is a sign of things to come.

"I'm only the second stop on the 7:32 a.m. Ronkonkoma train and the train car is already flooded!! Full blown puddles. Unreal!!," a woman wrote along with the photo she shared on Twitter.
