Long Island Restaurant Week Underway

Several eateries in local communities participating in week-long event.

Long Island’s spring Restaurant Week is underway and runs through Sunday. Participating restaurants are offering a three-course prix fixe dinner for $27.95 per person.  

While there are no restaurants in the Sachem community participating in Restaurant Week, there are several in nearby communities that are offering deals throughout the week.  

Sayville: Bistro 25, Café Joelle, La Tavola Trattoria  

Hauppauge: The Grill Room  

Nesconset: Tates Restaurant  

Patchogue: Pera Bell Food Bar, Public House 49  

During the spring 2012 Restaurant Week, total restaurant revenue was estimated to be $5.4 million. Participating restaurants served an estimated 140,800 meals.
