Man Burned in Apparent Electrical Accident in Holtsville

Police are investigating an incident Thursday afternoon in which a man was injured while working on an electric panel inside a Holtsville office building.

Police say the man was working on the panel when he suffered what appears to be burn-related injuries at about 3 p.m.

The incident occurred an office building located at 755 Waverly Avenue, just across the road from Sequoya Middle School.

The man was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
