Man Charged With Burglarizing 6 Ronkonkoma Homes In 1 Night: PD
The 30-year-old was connected to a total of nine burglaries in the past month, including six in one night, police say.
SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY - A Lindenhurst man was arrested on Friday for burglarizing nine homes, including six in one day, in Suffolk County over the past month, according to Suffolk Police.
Following an investigation, detectives found 30-year-old Alfred Giglio at 3845 Veterans Memorial Highway in Ronkonkoma on Friday at 12:44 p.m. and charged him for three burglaries that occurred in July, police said.
After a further investigation, officers found he was responsible for six other burglaries that all occurred on August 11, police said.

According to police, Giglio was allegedly linked to burglaries at the following locations:
- Knickerbocker Avenue in Ronkonkoma on August 11
- Port Avenue in Ronkonkoma on August 11
- Springdale Drive in Ronkonkoma on August 11
- Pond Road in Ronkonkoma on August 11
- Erie Street in Ronkonkoma on August 11
- 2nd Street in Lake Ronkonkoma on August 11
- Gateway Drive in Copiague on July 29
- Barberry Court in Amityville on July 25
- Howard Avenue in Copiague on July 23
Giglio was charged with nine counts of second degree burglary and one count each of fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools, police said.

He will be held overnight at the First Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday.
