Man Critically Injured In Overturn Crash: SCPD
The 20-year-old lost control of his car, causing it to overturn and cross onto the other side of the road, police say.
HOLBROOK, NY - A Centereach man was critically injured after an overturn crash in Holbrook on Thursday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Frank Maggio, 20, was driving a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer northbound on Nicolls Road, north of Sunrise Highway, when he lost control of the car while changing lanes at 8:40 p.m.
The Mitsubishi overturned and crossed the center median where it was struck by a southbound 2007 Nissan Murano.

Maggio was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the Nissan, 24-year-old Amanda Recchia, of Patchogue and her passenger, 25-year-old Dan Fey, of Miller Place, were transported via ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
