Man Hurt In Industrial Accident With Sausage Grinder In Lake Ronkonkoma: Police
He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.
LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY — A man was taken to the hospital after an accident involving a sausage grinder in a business in Ronkonkoma on Monday night, Suffolk police said.
Patrol officers from the 4th Precinct from Hauppauge responded to a 911 call that reported a man, who had his hand stuck while cleaning a sausage mixer inside a business on Portion Road, at around 4:45 p.m., according to police.
The man, 21, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
