Man Killed In Suffolk House Fire
Firefighters valiantly pulled the man from the burning home Monday afternoon, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

RONKONKOMA, NY – A 60-year-old man was killed in a Suffolk County house fire Monday afternoon, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, Fourth Precinct officers and firefighters from the Lakeland Fire Department responded to 14 May Court at 3:25 p.m. after a 911 call reporting a fire at the home.
Paul Stephan, 60, a resident of the home, was located inside. He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.

A preliminary investigation by Arson Section detectives has determined the cause of the fire to be non-criminal, police said.
