Man Arrested For Robbing 5 Suffolk Businesses: Police
BREAKING: The 28-year-old robbed four of the five businesses at knifepoint, police say.

A 28-year-old man robbed five Suffolk County businesses, four of them at knifepoint, over a nine-month span, Suffolk Police said Wednesday.
Following an investigation by First and Seventh Squad detectives, police said Joseph Putre, of Copiague, was charged with first degree robbery for robbing the following businesses at knifepoint:
· Dunkin' Donuts, located at 925 Montauk Highway in Copiague, on Dec. 1 at 10:18 p.m.

· Mastic Liquors, located at 619 Montauk Highway in Mastic, on May 15 at 12:40 p.m.
· Quik Stop, located at 20 Floyd Road in Shirley, on May 14 at 1:19 p.m.

· 7-Eleven, located at 228 William Floyd Parkway in Shirley, on April 25 at 1:45 a.m.
Putre was also charged with second degree robbery for robbing the Dunkin' Donuts located at 545 William Floyd Parkway in Shirley on May 10 at 2:07 a.m., police said.
Putre was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Central Islip.
