Man Robs Lake Ronkonkoma Bank

LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY – A man robbed a Lake Ronkonkoma bank Friday afternoon, police said.

According to Suffolk Police, the man entered Chase Bank located at 601 Portion Road at about 3:20 p.m., approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.

The robber was described as a white, in his early 20s, between 5-foot and 5-foot-4 inches tall, with a thin build and light-colored hair. He was wearing jeans, a black zipper jacket with an Everlast logo on it and a dark-colored baseball cap with a circular emblem on the front and gold detail on the brim.
